About us
Caregiver Academy started from an idea by Fabio Macrì, a nurse with experience in emergency care and home care. Working with patients and families showed how important it is to support everyone caring for someone at home with practical tools, accurate information and accessible training.

Caregiver Academy brings together healthcare professionals with clinical experience in community and home care. Our programmes are grounded in real-world practice and designed to offer practical tools for everyday care at home.

The project grew out of direct experience in healthcare and from seeing the challenges families and caregivers face every day in home care. That real need shaped a training path focused on simple, concrete tools.
Caregiver Academy's mission is to offer practical, accessible training based on care procedures and up-to-date guidelines. We help caregivers and relatives provide care with greater confidence, awareness and peace of mind.

Caregiver Academy takes shape with a mission to offer clear, accessible, evidence-based training for everyone who cares for a vulnerable person every day.

Training content is developed through research, literature review and clinical guidelines and protocols, so programmes reflect scientific evidence and good care practice.
Clinical experience highlights key training needs for caregivers. The first modules appear on core home care skills: oxygen therapy, nebuliser therapy, vital signs monitoring, mobilisation and complication prevention.
The idea of a dedicated caregiver training project takes shape: making essential care skills accessible even outside healthcare. A model built on simplicity, practicality and safety emerges.
In daily practice a widespread challenge appears: many relatives and caregivers manage complex situations without adequate training, leading to insecurity, unintended mistakes and stress. The importance of caregiver training becomes clear.
